Baghdad’s centuries-old market al-Safafeer -is a coppersmith marketplace in al-Rasheed Street where passerby would see skilled artisans crafting copperware including, pots, dishes, and pans. Abu Muhammad Al-Saffar, a well-known artisan who inherited this craft from his fathers, indicated that such market needs government support to preserve this legacy and to save it, considering the dwindling number of tourists
