Syria – 19 Albanian children and women handover from ISIS to their country
The Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria received an Albanian delegation headed by the Consul General of Albania in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, to hand them over 14 children and 5 women from ISIS in the camps of North and East Syria. The Department of Foreign Relations stated that several women who were not proven to be involved in acts of fighting and terrorism were handed over to the region, as the Albanian government had earlier handed over a woman and 4 children, while there are about 15-20 Albanian people who are still in the camps. The Department of Foreign Relations called on all countries that have citizens in the ranks of ISIS in the camps of north and east Syria to assume their responsibilities towards their nationals and take the initiative to hand them over because of the danger they have and a great burden on the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.
