Iraq: People with Disabilities Protest Poor Living Conditions in Sulaymaniyah

Dozens of people living with disabilities organized a sit-in near Sulaymaniyah Governorate Building to protest the financial hardships they are enduring ahead of Eid al-Adha. Protestors held banners demanding receiving assistance and tents were pitched along with an empty dining table symbolizing the lack of food. Moreover, incensed protestors raised loaves of bread in reference to their growing agony. It is worth mentioning that there are at least 120 thousand people with special needs, not to mention that they earn a salary no more than 150 thousand Dinars
