Iraq – The Egyptian delegation discusses in Baghdad to put the tripartite summit’s conclusion into action

The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevin Jameh, and her accompanying delegation concluded their first visit to Baghdad and their meeting with the Iraqi Ministers of Industry, Minerals, and Planning to activate the economic, investment, and trade files between the two countries against the decisions of the tripartite Baghdad summit. The official spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and a member of the government crisis cell, Mortada Al-Safi, stated that the bilateral talks focused on establishing industrial cities in which to enter as a partner with the public and private sectors in light of what happened with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and opening channels of cooperation in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, textile and leather industries, as well other investment and commercial fields, in addition to the request of the Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade that her country has a permanent and mobile exhibition at the Baghdad International Fair in the Iraqi governorates.
