Jordan – Request for the testimony of princes and nobles from the royal family in the sedition case
On Wednesday, the Jordanian State Security Court adjourned its fourth session in the “sedition” case to tomorrow, Thursday, to resume the case, in which the two defendants, Basem Awadallah, the former head of the Jordanian royal court, and Sharif Hassan bin Zaid, are being tried. Following the conclusion of the session, the lawyer of the accused, Basem Awadallah, Muhammad Al-Afif, said that they asked for the testimony of Princes Hamza, Ali, and Hashem in the case, and added that the State Security Court has the right to approve whether or not to summon defense witnesses.
