Syria- The First Water Treatment Plant in Ar Raqqah to Encourage Refugees to Come Back
Following years of a grueling war and displacement, launching the first water treatment plant in Ar Raqqah is an auspicious sign of stability in the city. It is as well a motive for displaced people to come back. The water treatment plant aims at providing the local market with drinking water instead of importing it at high prices. According to the plant owner, the place offered 36 job opportunities. Furthermore, the plant operates around the clock with two shifts to produce an ample supply of water, reaching 2000 bottled water packages
