During the breeding season, hundreds of thousands of gulls or colloquially seagulls annually migrate from the Mediterranean to a small island located in the middle of Darband river -Ranya District in mid-May, where they lay eggs. After the eggs hatch, they return in mid-July. In this regard, the environmental organizations called for protecting seabirds on this island by establishing a reserve
