The health authorities in Mongolia continue their campaign to vaccinate citizens, as 80.7 percent of the total adult population in Mongolia and more than 90 percent of the adult population living in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus; however, the number of infections continues to climb to 2,000 per day. In recent days, there has been a rapid increase in the number of people infected with Covid-19 and the long queues at pharmacies. Therefore, people questioned the effectiveness of the vaccine due to the high number of daily infections and deaths, expressing their lack of confidence in vaccines.
