In Baghdad, the auto-rickshaw the “tuk-tuk” became a growing phenomenon, given its cheap fares compared to taxies. Such a phenomenon was slammed by many who considered it uncivilized, given tuk-tuk drivers’ non-compliance to the traffic laws causing car accidents and unbearable traffic jams.
