Yemen: A Sit-in to Demand Lifting the Siege Imposed by Houthi Militias on Taiz
Tens of Taiz residents organized a sit-in to demand lifting the invincible siege imposed by the Houthi militias for the 7th year in a row. During which, protestors indicated that the world’s inaction in addressing their agony and what we have been through from siege and atrocities are nothing but a stigma for mankind and the world. They added that any negotiations for settling the Yemeni crisis that exclude the Houthi militia’s withdrawal and lifting the siege won’t be a real move into realizing peace. Furthermore, incensed protestors called the legitimate government, the international community, and the UN to shoulder responsibility in lifting the longest ever siege imposed on Taiz
