Yemen –First youth services center to launch in Yemen

Youth Without Borders Organization launched the first Youth services center, in Taiz, southern Yemen, within the framework of the organization’s efforts to provide free psychological and social support services, capacity building, skills development, legal guidance, health consultations, sports, and recreational activities. According to a study by the Family Development and Guidance Foundation, around six million people have been exposed to psychological and nervous problems as a result of the sis-year-long war and the continuous series of displacement. The residents of the besieged Taiz governorate bore the brunt of these conflicts, therefore the opening of this center by Youth Without Borders comes to ease the suffering of the people in the country’s most populous city.
