Upon Doctors without borders’ withdrawal from the Yemeni Swedish hospital for pediatrics, the medical staff threatened to hold a strike as salaries have been cut off since March. The medical staff confirmed that the hospital administration can’t fulfill its financial commitments. It is worth mentioning that given the pivotal role of this hospital in Taiz, an imminent health catastrophe will occur in case it went out of business. It will mostly affect children of Taiz who are suffering under an invincible siege imposed by the Houthis
