Syria – Health staff to receive Covid vaccine in northern and eastern Syria

The People’s Hospital in Al-Hasakah started vaccinating health staff in northern and eastern Syria, with the first dose of Covid vaccine, as the World Health Organization allocated 17,000 doses of the vaccine to these Syrian areas, so that health workers, chronic diseases patients, and people over 55 years old benefit from it. The process of giving the vaccine was carried out under the supervision of a delegate from the World Health Organization, which aims to give the vaccine to about 20% of the population by the end of this year.
