Syria- Families in – Al-Hasakeh are Denied Access to Drinking Water

In Al-Hasakeh Governorate, wretched Families are complaining about the lack of access to drinking water, compelling them into buying water from water tanks and markets. The region, which houses 150 million people, relies on the water that pumps from Alouk water station which is basically under the Syrian opposition forces’ grip who cuts off the water flow that feeds into the city. A resident made it clear that they receive water only once every 20 days, which exacerbates their financial hardships
