Iraq: A Kurd Manufactures a Drone by Using Cork and Wood

Despite financial hardships that swept Kurdistan, Nitham Al-Din Mahmoud, a young man from the Ranya district, succeeded in manufacturing a drone by using cork and appliances. Mahmoud, who graduated from the Institute of Islamic Studies and couldn’t find a job, has been fond of aviation since he was a child and has always dreamt about manufacturing a modest aircraft by using simple tools. He illustrated that his drone flies at a height of 300 m above the ground, adding that he hopes he gets governmental and organizational support so he can then develop the drone to modern standards
