Yemen: The Grueling War Forces Thousands of Children to Leave Their Schools and Make a living
In the war-ravaged region and amid dire humanitarian conditions that have been engulfing Yemen for the last 6 years, hundreds of thousands of children were compelled to leave school and work to make a living. Among them is Moaath Bajash who runs a fruit cart in Taiz. He illustrated that he starts from the early morning and works until midnight, earning from 8 to 10 Dollars on daily basis. He is the provider of his family and has no choice but to work
