Yemen – Concerns about the surge of Covid after Eid prayer
Despite the surge of the Covid wave, the Yemenis performed the Eid prayer amid a severe crowd in mosques and squares in different places including Aden, southern Yemen, while many countries resorted to canceling Eid prayer concerning the virus in a country considered the poorest due to the war the government forces are fighting against the Iran-backed Houthi militia, where the number of cases increased in the areas of the recognized government’s influence to 6,492, 1,276 deaths, and 3,003 recoveries.
