Lebanon – Michel Aoun elected president of Lebanon after four rounds of voting.

MP Michel Aoun was elected president of Lebanon after receiving 83 votes in the fourth ballot of the second session, while the number of white papers was 36, canceled papers were 7, while MP Strida Geagea got one vote. The election of the fourth ballot was conducted after the Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri announced that the second and third ballots failed because of the presence of 128 envelopes in the voting box, while the number of deputies was 127.
