Iraq – A photographer from the royal time works in the Sulaymaniyah markets
Abu Bakr Muhammad Ali, also known as “Uncle Abu Bakr the Photographer” has been photographing in the Sulaymaniyah’s markets and alleys since 1956, the time of the King of Iraq, Faisal II, and he may be the only Iraqi who still carries his camera despite his old age, as it is his tool that gave him fame and expanded his relationships with Iraqi society figures.
