Syria – A house for orphans and widows who lost their families during ISIS dominance
Raqqa has previously suffered from ISIS dominance as it used to be its center for years, and to grow in the city against the ideas of the organization’s ideologies which are still prevalent, the Syrian Revival House initiative, a civil project, lead by volunteers from Raqqa, seeks to provide care for widows and divorced women, as well as attention to orphan children, owing to the rise in the percentage of this group in the society due to the country’s exposure to war. The health care official at Al- Revival House, Ibrahim Abdullah, stated that many challenges have occurred, and they always strive, in cooperation with their partners, to eliminate barriers to support this group.
