The Mongolian national mounted archery on horseback is a very ancient traditional heritage despite that the Manchu emperor banned it in Mongolia in the late 1800s that made competitions suspend and were almost forgotten. Recently, archery on horseback has been revived and young people have become more interested in it, Also, equestrian centers train athletes from different countries of the world in this sport.
