Cambodia – Businessmen emphasizes Cambodia’s need for foreign investors

Cambodian local business owners stated that the country needs more foreign investors to boost the economy and create jobs for the local people, especially that Cambodia is one of the developing countries and is characterized by its strategic location in ASEAN countries and, low-cost labor. They emphasized that Cambodia does not only depend on foreign investors but has more local start-ups to maintain the economy in the country, indicating that their country lacks skilled and technical workers, so foreign investors resort to employing a number of their countrymen, adding that since Corona pandemic kicked off, the number of foreign investors have regressed affecting investment projects in Cambodia.
