Myanmar- Internet outage pushes the Burmese to use radio to keep up with the news

Following the February military coup that overthrew the elected civilian government, the people of Myanmar depend on radios to listen to what goes on about the suppression of protesters protesting against the coup and to obtain accurate information from foreign radio stations, as the Military junta recently shut down the mobile phone data and Wi-Fi, as well as removing the local news media channel from the satellites in most cities except Yangon and Mandalay.
