Iraq- Elham is a Displaced Girl who was Forced to Provide for Her 12-Member Family

Amid dire humanitarian conditions in Balad Station camp in Salah ad-Din Governorate, at least 200 kids are deeply suffering. Among those kids is Elham, who was coerced into leaving school to provide for her 12-member family, not to mention that her father suffers from a disability. Elham opened a small shop. Because of the abject poverty that people are enduring in the camp, most of the buyers are in debt. After being displaced for 6 years, she woefully explains her wish to go back to her hometown, as she also dreams about learning how to read and write
