Iraq – Ashura celebration in Baghdad

Baghdad – Iraq 12/10/2016

A group of young people in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, prepared tables of food on the night of Ashura as one of the old traditional rituals on the ninth day of the month of Muharram every year. Food preparation process continues until the morning hours which will then be distributed in the form of meals to the people in need.
