Iraq: Refusal of the Turkish intervention in Mosul liberation process

Baghdad – Iraq 05-10-2016

The Official Spokesperson of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry “Ahmed Jamal” expresses Iraq refusal of the Turkish Parliament decision which allows their forces to continue their duties in Iraq and Syria for an additional year and Iraq considered the decision as a violation since Turkey did not coordinate with the federal government in Baghdad. On the other hand, military experts see that it is not wise to reject such a decision which contribute ending ISIS organization in the region.
