Many Iraqis continue to visit Al Ghazal market which dedicated for selling various kinds of birds, and despite the security situation in Baghdad, it is always frequented by traders and amateur meant, as the market get crowded on Fridays, and it turns into a bazaar to display rare and exotic kinds of birds exposed as well as pets.
