Iraq: Experts: ISIS’s Cash Reserve was Accumulated in Syria and Iraq

The United Nations Security Council – Counter Terrorism Committee disclosed that ISIS’s cash reserve amount to 100 million dollars, which suggest the hefty funds it receives to conduct its military operations. ISIS is deemed an advanced organization compared to others. It gained its leverage through taking over vast lands of Iraq -about one-third of Iraq from which it looted and seized upon numerous sources of money, not to mention that huge sums were collected through extortion, fines, and taxes that were imposed on the areas under its grip
