Iraq – Kurds demand the right to self-determination and condemn Iranian attacks on border areas

Erbil – Kurdistan Region – Iraq 14/08/2016

The Supreme Council for civil society organizations in the Kurdistan Region held a press conference to call on all political parties in the region to renounce partisan differences and to unify efforts for the achievement of the Supreme Kurdish people’s interest by giving them their right for self-determination, and the Council also condemned the indiscriminate Iranian attack on the innocent civilians considering it a violation the human rights and a violation to the regional government.
