Iraq – Parliament postpones vote on the General Pardon decision

Baghdad – Iraq 14/8/2016

The Iraqi parliament decided to delay the voting on the law of General Pardon to Monday, although it was on the list of the work of todays session. The delay is a result of objection of some blocs in the Council on a number of the terms of the law that takes into account and serves large segment of detainees in Iraqi prisons.
