Iraq – Iraqi Defense Minister inspects military units south of Mosul

The Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi inspected the Nineveh’s Liberation headquarters, in Makhmour district southeast of Mosul, upon his arrival, he held an urgent meeting to analyze the operation plans. Following the meeting, he held a press conference, emphasizing his role as a military personnel fighting ISIS, will not be effected by the Iraqi Council of Representatives’s interrogation, he described it as unconstitutional, furthermore he welcomed any decision by the judiciary, as he has bigger battles to fight.
