Iraq – The river street caught between the beautiful past and the vicious present

The river street is located on either side of two bridges – the bridge of freedom and the martyr’s bridge named after those murdered in war – on the banks of the Tigris River in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. At one point, this place was where Iraqi Women once expressed themselves with fashion, the street is now deserted because no one in Iraq can be safe.
