Yemen- Oil crisis paralyzes Aden city
Aden – Yemen 21.01.2021
Aden city has been encountering for 5 days deep shortage in oil, which has adversely influenced the lives of citizens creating a crisis in public transportation between cities and the countryside. Many workers, students, and citizens find it impossible to reach their destination because of the lack of public transport buses as thousands of citizens queue in the main streets waiting to drop them at their work. The fuel shortage has resulted from a strike by Aden Refinery Company, which causes the re-spread of black markets at double prices, as the price of the 20-liter tank reached 15,000 riyals or about 40 dollars.
