There are conflicting views on the call of the President of the Security Council of the province of Kurdistan Masroor Barzani to divide Iraq into three separate entities for the Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds after getting rid of ISIS, reactions between objection and acceptance of Iraq’s various political and religious forces.
The charged atmosphere and the relations between Baghdad and Erbil getting to a standstill and the economic crisis in the province of Kurdistan are all factors that did not prevent the President of the Security Council of Kurdistan Masroor Barzani from calling for dividing Iraq into three entities for the Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds to stop the bloodshed after the loss of confidence, he said.
Where the Kurds got despaired from the Iraqi government after the budget had stopped for 17% and the salaries of the employees were withheld, and it gave up much of its commitments.
It is noteworthy that the United States confirmed its support for a unified Iraq and opposed any attempt to divide it, which was as a reaction to the call of the President of the Security Council of Kurdistan region, Masroor Barzani to the division of Iraq immediately after defeating ISIS.
