Jordan: Commemorating World Refugee Day

Under the patronage of Mr. Andrew Harper, representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Jordan, Global CARE celebrated World Refugee Day of June 20 of each year, to highlight the refugees and their steadfastness strength and challenges faced by the Jordanian society and the coexistence of refugees in camps and urban areas in Jordan.

Mr. Andrew Harper, representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) confirmed the importance of CARE organization is that it removes barriers between refugees and workers in the organization and Salam Kanaan, General Director of CARE Jordan said the continued war means eliminating the idea of finding a solution to the Syrian crisis
