Yemen –Houthi movement to fail the Siamese twins to be treated abroad

The head of the pediatric surgery department at Al Sabeen Hospital in Sanaa, Majid Mughals, stated that the Siamese twins need to be sent to a specialized center for such rare cases abroad for the separation surgery. He suggested that if the final medical report to determine the parts that they share was postponed, their health status could deteriorate. The Houthi movement rejected a Saudi offer through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to transport the Siamese twins to Saudi Arabia, provide them treatment and study potential possibilities for the separating process, explaining that by promising to transfer them to a neutral state that did not engage in the Yemen war.
