Jordan- King of Jordan inaugurates the 19th Parliament’s extraordinary session

Today, Thursday, The King of Jordan, Abdullah II inaugurated the works of the 19th Parliament’s extraordinary session by delivering the Speech from the Throne. The work of the session taking place amid precautionary and measures due to the corona pandemic, most notably the limitation of attending the opening to members of the upper house, lower house, and the government. In addition to different seating arrangements so that the deputies be seated under the dome while the senates and the government bodies on balconies keeping the masks. The upper house and lower house will separately raise their response to the speech from the throne within two weeks of the start of the session.
