Jordan –King welcomes the Palestinian President in Aqaba

The Jordanian King Abdullah welcomed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on Sunday in Aqaba, as they discussed the updates of the Palestinian cause. During the meeting, the Jordanian King assured on scaling up the international efforts for fair and lasting peace and put an end to the Palestinian Israeli conflict based on two-state solutions. He stressed Jordan’s full support for the Palestinians in their just and legitimate rights to an independent, sovereign state. In turn, the Palestinian President appreciated the fixed and clear possessions of Jordan in defending the rights of the Palestinians and supporting their just cause.
