Cambodia – Corona forces students to work in casinos

The closure of schools due to corona pandemic led to a spread of casinos in Preas Sehanouk Ville, Southwestern Cambodia, which made student drop out to work in these casinos to support their families. Local citizens stated that some casinos open officially and some are hidden under the brand name of hotels or restaurants. They expressed their dissatisfaction and fear that these casinos might affect the future of the youth.
