Jordan – Popular campaign to boycott French products

Jordanian citizens launched a massive campaign on social media to boycott French products and prevent dealing with French companies investing in Jordan, in response to the French President’s abuse of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Major Jordanian consumer institutions announced a boycott of French products, by placing banners and writing slogans of  “Support for the Prophet Muhammad, boycott the French products” in addition to the boycott of fuel stations, telecommunications companies, and all French stores in Jordan. Several politicians, partisans, and journalists condemned this attack, which targets Islam and Muslims, and provokes the feelings of hundreds of millions of them around the world, according to their description.
