Experts explained that the new US sanctions come as part of a series of steps that Washington is following to put pressure on the Iranian financial and military institutions that the US administration accuses of seeking expansion In several Arab countries. They added that if US interests are threatened, the response will not be directly on Iran, but rather on Iran’s followers if it is in Iraq or other countries in the Middle East.
