Jordan: Experts: ISIS Will Remain a Serious Threat in Iraq

Experts clarified that ISIS has lost 95% of its military power, finance, and militants, not to mention that it has failed in assuming its political goals, transforming from operating through state institutions into hidden cells. Moreover, they pointed out that ISIS is waging a war of attrition against all opposing sides. ISIS will remain a serious threat, especially inside Iraq, as circumstances that had fostered such emergence on the first place haven’t changed. It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi status quo is nothing but an incubator for ISIS, who hopes to reemerge to their 2013-2014 status
