Iraq: Militias Escalate Military Operations, as Early Parliamentary Elections to take place in the near future.

Outlawed armed groups are heavily escalating their operations by launching Katyusha rockets, targeting security and military headquarters in the Green Zone in central Baghdad. These unprecedent barbarian attacks are considered nothing but a threat to diplomatic missions. Experts indicated that militias insist on escalation during upcoming months, especially that Early Parliamentary Elections are taking place in the near future. These powerful militias, who are the decision- makers that enjoy massive armory and wealth, is conducting these hostile operations to impede establishing a solid state, and to hurdle the reforming process for the government’s abject failures that have been taking place for 17 years
