Iraq – Accusing Armed Factions of Being Behind the Attacks Against Diplomatic Missions.

The Green Zone in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which includes Iraqi government headquarters, most diplomatic missions, sensitive security headquarters, and the joint operations command that shares its headquarters with the international coalition forces present at the invitation of the Iraqi government, has been subjected to security breaches and targeted by armed groups. Washington accuses armed Iraqi factions linked to Iran of being behind the attacks, the latest of which is the attacks that took place on the Harir base in Kurdistan, in addition to the attacks on the military convoys that provide logistic support to the international coalition.
