Iraq: Iraqi Kurdistan Refuses to Transform the Region into an Iranian-US battleground

A blitz of airstrikes targeted Erbil International Airport in Iraqi Kurdistan with no casualties or material losses. Analysts pointed out that the Iraqi Kurdistan government’s response was crystal clear; it doesn’t want to transform the area into a battleground for Iran and the US. Analysts added that these kinds of attacks conducted by Iranian militias in Iraq are a clear message from Iran to the United States that it can easily reach and target US forces in any area in Iraq.   Citizens condemned the attacks and demanded preserving peace and stability that engulfs the area, away from US-Iranian disputes.
