Baghdad- Iraq 25/09/2020
Experts pointed out that the Iranian intervention in Iraq negatively affects the situation of the country in various fields, especially in the issue of water, as Iran cut off the course of rivers that used to supply Iraq with water. This shortage affected hydroelectric dams and food production negatively. Iran also cut off water supplies to impede the social and economic development of Iraq, as well as to disturb in one way or another the livelihood of farmers in the border governorates in southern Iraq, which represents great economic power.
