Iraq- Demands to Proceed with the Coming Electoral Law

Advisor to the Prime Minister for Electoral Affairs, Abdul Hussein Al-Hindawi indicated that voting on the new electoral law for the coming parliamentary elections, which is due on June-2021, haven’t occurred yet. He also clarified that the law entails multiple constituencies and individual candidate. Therefore, constituencies, districts, demographic statistics, and voters should be agreed upon. He demanded immediate completion of the electoral law, especially after 7 months of initiating it.
