Experts indicated that imposing arms-embargo on Iran is futile, and such ban is ill-defined. Iran is known for its advanced weapons, as affiliated militias have an edge over other armies in the region. The US pretext to extend arms embargo is that Iran would use such weapons to supply its militias with weapons in Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen.
