Yemen- Civil Sector’s Employees Organize a Sit-In demanding their Salaries

Civil sector’s employees organized a sit-in yesterday, under the slogan “salary is life’ in front of Taiz Governorate’s General bureau demanding their full salaries. Protestors raised banners denouncing fraud, delayed salaries, and the withholding of salaries. Protesters deemed unpaid salaries as another war crime, committed by the legitimate government in the governorate. They demanded the government to raise civil servants’ wages as well as paying their due allowances.
