Iraq- Tehran’s demonstration of its power in the Gulf portends frequent escalation with Washington

After the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps conducted the 14th “Great Messenger” exercises, which included an exercise to destroy a supposed U.S. aircraft carrier in the Arabian Gulf region and west of the Strait of Hormuz, analysts considered that the U.S.-Iran conflict is a hybrid war using all kinds of tactical, psychological, information and cyber weapons, noting that these exercises are a review of Tehran’s readiness and its capability, both offensive and defensive, which threatens to escalate frequently with the possibility of a confrontation in the region between the two countries.
